Materica

Photography to touch

Materica is a portrait that takes shape instantly: we shoot it, print it, and take it home immediately after the shoot. You, you and your partner, you and your family, or your group of friends. Bring whoever you want to set!

No screens, no files forgotten on your phone or in the virtual depths of a hard drive, where they often accumulate, get lost, or forgotten.

Not a print. It stays in place, it decorates a room. It lasts through time, it stays with you.

Materica is something you can hold in your hands, hang, and revisit every day.

Live.

How it works

We’ll welcome you on set for a short session lasting about 15 minutes. Then, from the images we’ve taken, you’ll choose the photo that we’ll print for you on Fine Art paper immediately after the shoot. We’ll frame it as you like from our selection and in the size you choose.

You can also select three additional shots from the gallery, which we’ll deliver to you in low resolution and post-processed.

All shots will be in black and white.

For Materica, allow about an hour in total; after the shoot and choosing the photo to print, you can relax in LuisaLab while we post-process your shot, carefully print it, and mount it in the frame.

PRINTS AND GRAPHICS

Photography is an art born to be printed, tied to paper since its inception. This is why I’m certain that photographs of your child, or those you love, shouldn’t be locked away on a gloomy hard drive, but rather displayed in your home.
